The PRB is a multi-disciplinary body whose members have expertise in a variety of disciplines and experience in the Arctic, the Antarctic, or both. The U.S. delegates to SCAR and IASC serve as ex-officio members of the Board to enhance communications with these organizations. Members (current as of March 2007) include:
